This mailbox models some of the large barns that once dotted the Midwest but are now becoming a endangered species. As a boy, I have many fond memories of putting up hay in the summer on my uncle's farm in Iowa and sitting in the mouth of the open hay door smelling the recently cut hay and watching the clouds go by. This custom mailbox features details such as paned windows, doors with handles and ventilators on the roof, if you want them. You can have your choice of colors as long as they are standard colors. If you would like custom colors, we will need to charge you another $10 per color since we will have to purchase paint that we will likely not be able to use for another mailbox.
