The Myrtlewood Rounded Coffee Table is truly a unique piece with all the character and strength it has to offer. This table comes in two standard sizes. We have chosen bases with clean lines made with wrought iron so that they don't compete with the ornamental myrtlewood. Large Rounded: 36x40x17h (base) - 48-60 In. top at widest point Myrtlewood begins like a bush with several stems. In time the stems grow together, causing the outside edges to be very erratic. You can specify that you prefer your edges to be somewhat irregular or very irregular. Because this is a natural product, no two pieces will be alike. Thick wood slabs are finished with a butcher block sealer that enhances the grains and colorations in the wood. This wood is extremely rare. It grows in small groves throughout the coast areas of Southwestern Oregon and the norther Pacific Coast. The wood was sliced into thick slabs almost 30 years ago.
