Payment Methods & Security
HGAP will accept several methods of payment as listed below. We guarantee that every transaction you make on our website will be 100% secure, regardless of the method you choose. Prices are listed in US Dollars.
Note: If the shopping cart is not tallying your order, this is caused many times because the computer you are using has a firewall in place. Often when you order from a business computer, the network has a firewall. Our orders use a "cookie" and/or an "IP" address. This firewall prevents the shopping basket from detecting the items that you have placed in the shopping cart. You will need to use a different computer or phone your order in to (913) 422-7792 Monday thru Friday 9am to 5 pm CDT.
PayPal PayPal enables buyers and businesses to send and receive money online, safely and privately and typically with no fee. We are pleased to accept payment through PayPal, the leader in trusted online payments. PayPal provides industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is never shared with the merchant.
Credit Cards We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. You can safely enter your entire credit card number via our secure server, which will encrypt all your submitted information. Please make sure you use the exact billing address that is on your credit card.
Check Via Mail Pay for your online purchase with a check mailed to our office. Please include your Order Number on the Memo portion of your check. Upon receipt of check, we will send an email confirmation of payment and follow up with shipping and tracking information once the order has shipped. Please Mail check to:

Gift Certificates: If you are using a gift certificate to pay for any product on our website, simply choose that option as your Method of Payment during the checkout. Enter the certificate number in the provided space and submit your order. If the cost of your order exceeds the amount of your gift certificate, you will be prompted to enter your credit card information.

Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50.00, we will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full amount of $50.00. We will only cover this liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at homegardenandpatio.com while using the secure server.
In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

Pricing Please be aware that while we do our best to keep this site current on pricing and other material, that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors. All Prices are Subject to Change.
Cancel or Change Order We strive to ship all orders as soon as possible. There is a variance on shipping time on all products. If the order has entered the shipping process, it cannot be cancelled or changed by you or by our customer service department. However, you may return the item subject to that item’s return policy (See Returns & Exchanges below). In order to request a cancellation or change to your order, please call 1-913-422-8992. To ensure timely processing of your cancellation or change, please do not send your request via email. Thank you for your consideration.
Back Ordered Products Occasionally, due to an overwhelming popularity of a product, the item must be placed on backorder until additional inventory is received. If your order includes an item that has been placed on backorder, you will be promptly notified by a Customer Service Specialist who will then suggest options to fulfill your current order.
Returns & Exchanges Customer satisfaction is our Goal. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We have set specific guidelines to ensure a quick and hassle-free return and exchange process.
PLEASE INSPECT YOUR ORDER IMMEDIATELY UPON ARRIVAL. DO NOT DISPOSE OF THE BOX OR ANY PACKAGING MATERIALS UNTIL YOU HAVE INSPECTED YOUR ORDER AND ARE SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT YOU HAVE RECEIVED. If your product was shipped via Freight Carrier (Trucking Lines), please inspect the product for visible damage before the carrier leaves. Please make any notations on the Delivery Receipt. Please be sure to read our Shipping and Delivery Policies.
Most of our products have a 30 day – no questions asked- return policy. Shipping Charges will not be refunded, except in cases that arise from our mistakes. At times, we may run promotions on certain products that offer "Free Freight Promotions". These costs are considered "Free" providing the customer retains the item(s). If the item(s) is returned for credit, the actual shipping/handling cost will be deducted from the credit to cover cost of freight and handling on these promotional items. All refunds must be in original sellable condition to be considered and will be inspected prior to issuing a credit. If the item(s) has been altered, damaged or not returned with all components, pieces and packaging a refund may not be given. At the very least, a restock fee will be assessed on these items. This policy is in effect so our promotions will not be abused or taken advantage of.
Certain orders cannot be returned due to their uniqueness, customization and/or personalization, specific to your request. These include address plaques, custom finished products and any like item that is built to the specific needs for the consumer. This also includes certain products that have been deemed special order items by their specialized requirements and/or descriptions online. These items will not be able to be resold or carry a greater cost in freight than the product value and therefore cannot be considered for refund.
Before returning an item, please e-mail us with your Invoice Number so that we can send you a RA# (Return Merchandise Authorization). An RA# MUST be obtained for product returns so proper identification can be placed with the item. If you fail to obtain an RA# from us and the item is lost, we cannot be held responsible for this item. Please use a delivery service such as UPS which has tracking capabilities and always insure the item when possible. We are not liable for damaged returns.
If you are returning a product that was originally purchased with a gift certificate, you will receive an in-store credit as your refund. If you are returning a product that was given to you as a gift, you will receive an in-store credit as your refund. The in-store credit can be used at our online store at HGAP.com.

In the unlikely event that your order was incorrect, missing parts, damaged or defective, please call us within 30 days and we will send you the correct product, replacement product, or replacement parts at no cost to you. Orders Never Received If you have tracked your order from our Order Status page and found discrepancies in the delivery date or have not received your order within 5 business days of its scheduled delivery date, please contact our Customer Service Specialists. We will research the location of your order and promptly resolve the issue.

We use your Internet Protocol address to help identify you and your shopping cart, and to gather broad demographic information. Our site uses cookies to keep track of the items in your shopping cart so you will not have to re-enter them each time you visit.
Acceptance of cookies is not a requirement to browse our site, however our shopping cart does require acceptance of cookies to work correctly. Our cookies are never used to store sensitive customer information such as names, addresses, passwords or credit card numbers. There are several "email a friend" features on our site that allow you to easily share product or other information with your friends. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping: Items are usually sent out within the days listed in their description. Please allow additional time for actual shipping. Special order items will always take longer than standard manufactured items. Please take note of the approximate ship times in the description of the item(s) ordered, as these are our expected ship dates. Note: During holiday seasons, there may be some delay due to the large number of orders needed to process and additional shipping delays from UPS, FedEx and Trucking Lines, etc.
"Free Shipping" constitutes the customer taking possession of the order. If the order is cancelled after the items have shipped and has not yet been received, the actual freight cost and/or any handling costs will be deducted from the credit of merchandise to the customer. LTL – Truck shipping only. This item is usually very large or too heavy to ship by any other means except a truck line. Truck carriers will only deliver your order to your curb, unlike FedEx or UPS. Surcharges may apply if you live in an inaccessible or remote area.
Truck Shipments: Heavy shipping items, usually over 150 lbs. or very large items will be delivered by a Trucking Line. Custom orders may be subjected to extra delivery charge if a non-standard size skid is needed. We will let you know within 2 working days if this is the case. If for any reason, your street or property cannot accommodate this size of truck, we will need to make alternative arrangements that may result in additional charges or the need for you to arrange pickup from the nearest freight terminal at your expense. Examples may, but not necessarily include; one-way streets, cul-de-sac, narrow streets or obstructions like trees overhanging or low power lines. Extreme rural areas may be subject to extra freight costs. Saturday deliveries may be available and will be charged an additional $250. Lift gate service may be available for an additional charge of $100 and must be requested prior to delivery.
Delivery: When item(s) is delivered by truck, you or someone you appoint, must be present for truck deliveries. You also may need extra people to help you unload your order. Hopefully the driver will help but he/she is under no obligation to do so. It is your sole responsibility to unload your order. *Note: Please count the number of boxes/items that are being delivered and compare to the delivery bill. Note any differences BEFORE you sign. Also make note of any damages on the delivery bill BEFORE you sign to accept delivery.
IMPORTANT: If you sign the delivery statement without noting any missing items/boxes and/or any and all damages, we cannot, nor the shipping company, be held responsible for any lost or damaged items. If there is a lot of damage (ie, large holes in boxes, items spilling out, missing more than 10% of the boxes, etc) PLEASE refuse delivery and contact us immediately.
